Here I am with an old DOS based graphic editor that I've forgotten how to use. It really makes you appreciate some of the artwork people used to produce on those simple little programs. Anyway, this week/month's graphic represents the fact that TLOT seems to be missing in action... I'll tell you why..
Tempest Digital Solutions, my new company for those who don't know, just moved into it's new Dallas based office. Actually, we moved into the church with Gathering of Developers. We're very excited. Things have been absolutely nuts. I put in about 80 hours at the office last week and I'll probably be up there tonight. We're working on a lot of different projects right now. This is consuming 110% of my time. Hopefully if things pan out like I hope, I'll be able to actually pay my taxes!
My primary work station is now at the office leaving me with very little equipment at home. Even if it was at home, I still wouldn't have had time to work on Talibah. But, I just got my new workstation yesterday.. Once I get it set up, I can bring my computer home. This move seperates my work and my private life. My apartment is no longer our office. If I can get a steady work schedule laid out over the next few months, then I can start devoting time to things like TLOT and MOD tracking again. Until then, things will be very quiet.
I've noticed that as I've started updating less and less, my hits have been dropping off. If you want a reason to return to this page again some day, I may have one for you. At the end of this month I am starting fall classes. I'm finally able to take the game programming class I've wanted to take since the first day I started school at UNT. This means I will be forced back into a game programming mind set. I sure hope this is the catalyst I need to get back on track. We'll see, won't we.
I'd like to thank all the people out there that keep coming back. I've got a few fans out there and I'm grateful for your support! Perhaps one day I'll be able to reward you.
Before I close, I want to mention a great new game I played. Its a Gathering title called Darkstone. This game is great in both single player and on a network. We played it from 5:00 one evening until 8:00 the next morning without stopping. Its that cool.
BTW- I WILL get that 20k hit graphic on this site soon, I don't have it here with me. Until next time....
