455. MapQuest may show us on the wrong side of Forestburg.

Valley View: At Valley View on I-35 north of Denton turn west onto FM 922 towards Era, Forestburg, and Montague. At Forestburg keep going straight, which will automatically put you on FM 455 towards Montague

Decatur: At Decatur from US 380 go north on FM 730 until it runs into FM 455. Turn left onto FM 455 towards Forestburg.

Alvord: Coming from Decatur, get off US 287 at the first Alvord exit, which takes you to downtown Alvord’s red light, turn right [NE], taking FM 1655 until it runs into FM 455. Turn left onto FM 455 towards Forestburg. In Forestburg you’ll have to turn left to stay on FM 455 and pavement, which takes you towards Montague.

Check your mileage at Forestburg. Continue on FM 455 about 6.2 miles towards Montague. Our plain cattle-guard driveway is on the right, about 30 ft past the mailbox with 10821 on it. Turn right into the driveway—you can’t see the house from the highway.

Via Montague [FM 455 is on the south edge of Montague]:

Turn east [a right-hand turn coming from Bowie; a left-hand turn coming from Nocona] onto FM 455. Check your mileage and go about 8.5 mi south towards Forestburg. Our plain cattle-guard driveway is on the left, and our mailbox with 10821 on it is about 30 feet past the entry. Turn left into the driveway—you can’t see the house from the highway.
